LA trap-metal/ grunge rockers LOVE GHOST is back with a short but savage new single “GLOCK”, in collab with fast-rising Mexican rapper Dan Garcia.

“Glock” delivers a hard-hitting trap metal/ hard-latin rap song in the vein of Scarlxrd, Ghostemane and City Morgue. Check out the awesome gritty music video below:
Straight off the bat Dan Garcia dives into a groovy Spanish flow that quickly picks up intensity... a whispering build-up then explodes into an awesome in-your-face trap/ screamo chorus that then releases into a more melodic post - chorus flow, interspersed with screamo angst that keeps the energy up.
At just under 2 mins it doesn't waste any time and delivers the goods right away, which is the way we like it. We love how this song pushes the boundaries of the somewhat over-saturated trap-metal genre and delivers something refreshing, which is not an easy feat. The cool contrast between the Latin and American influences and the somewhat unconventional song structure helps keep the listener engaged and delighted.
Finnegan Bell from Love Ghost says this about the track “This collaboration with Mexican Rapper Dan Garcia is an unleashing of your inner beast, the self you mostly keep inside a cage. It was inspired by our mutual love for competitive fighting (both MMA & Boxing). Dan was a competitive wrestler in his formative years and I've also trained in martial arts my entire life"
Who is Love Ghost? They're an American alternative rock band from Los Angeles formed by frontman and vocalist/guitarist Finnegan Bell, who is joined by Cory Batchler (keyboard, bass, background vocals), guitarist Daniel Alcala, and drummer Daniel Gallardo. Finnegan Bell describes the band as “an alternative rock band with hip-hop elements. It's halfway Nirvana, Alice in Chains, halfway $UICIDEBOY$ and Lil Peep. Somewhere in the mix between that”.
The band has been making waves over the last few years with a number of impressive reviews and shows under their belt and they are clearly a hard-working group of talent muso's on the rise. We're stoked to have discovered them and excited to see where they go next. If you feel the same then be sure to follow them on all their channels (links below)

The song was produced by Eipi, a frequent collaborator with Dan Garcia, and was recorded in Mexico. Sounds fckn gooooood, we love it.
